An open letter to the floundering Republicans

You came to power because of the disaster of Democratism. Following in the footsteps of Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson, the Democrats have pursued the ideology of democracy. The ideals of socialism. The Democrats have a rule book, an agenda, and a game plan. They have stuck doggedly to it.

From their decades-long dominance, we have a progressive income tax, popular election of senators, social security, government workfare, food tamps, medicare, federal aid to education, gun control, and an unlawful war against the American people on the basis of what they possess.

The American people have bought in to the agenda of the Democrats. The agenda has been progressively furthered, the agenda implemented, and you, the Republicans, have furthered the agenda of the Democrats by failing to stand on the principles upon which your name rests-- that we are a Constitutional republic-- that government is restricted in what it is allowed to do by the Constitution for the United States of America.

You have forgotten that the Constitution demands that the federal government finance itself with imposts and duties. You have forgotten that the Constitution demands that a criminal charge be predicated upon a signed affidavit of injury or interference from a citizen, not upon some complaint ferreted out by spies upon the citizenry, based upon a statutory violation of a regulation upon us, the sovereign citizenry. You have forgotten that the only authority possessed by government is that which is delegable from the individuals which comprise the sovereign citizenry.

You have forgotten that this is a nation of individuals, not of groups. You have forgotten that the body of the Constitution delegates a certain limited set of powers, and restrictions of power, and that the Bill of Rights is a set of instructions from the owners to their managers. The Bill of Rights locks away the favorite tricks of government, forbidding you absolutely and forever from meddling in the affairs of the private citizens.

You are not allowed to pass regulations with criminal enforcement which interfere with our lives, imposing mandatory edicts upon us. You are not allowed to tax one man for the benefit of another. You are not allowed to license churches through the artifice of 501(c)(3). You are not allowed to violate the sanctity and security of my person, house, papers, and effects by passing laws which interfere with my personal possession of firearms, the means by which I treat my body. You are not allowed to compel my participation in the socialism of social security, requiring that I accept your numbering of me in order to work. You are not allowed to limit what I read or access on the internet, you are not allowed to eavesdrop on my telephone conversations, you are not allowed to limit how I make secure my electronic communications. You are not allowed to convert the lawful money of this nation into fiat paper and give authority over it to a private bank.

Read the Constituion, and realize that it doesn't require the intervention of a judge-- a trade union lackey who has attained *noble* status through a government license-- to be understood. Read the Bill of Rights and realize that it doesn't create a *sharing* of power with government, it is the mandate of the owners of an enterprise to their hired servants. The beauty and simplicity of the Constitution will likely surprise you-- and you will see the revolutionary restrictions that it places upon the purview of government.

Read the Constitution and realize that there is no lawful money in this land, and that our fortunes have declined as we stray further from our foundation. You are following the socialism of democracy, and you typically provide the enforcement for their socialist notions. In short, Republicans, you are lost. The Democrats have a guide-- the Communist Manifesto. You were elected in the wake of the hash they have made of government. Since you have no guide, you have wandered aimlessly, and are being rejected. The only viable option, at this point, is the *other* party.

If you wish to continue your steady hemmorhage, then cast aimlessly about for some *political* solution that will provide enough cover and deception for you to regain power. The best that you can hope for is to out-democrat the Democrats.

If you wish to distinguish youselves from the predatory practices of the Democrats, find your foundation- - the Constitution. Otherwise, you can only count on a growing dissatisfaction with your policies. Eventually, this land will come to be ruled by a single party, or a new party will emerge. You can remake yourself in the image of the Constitution, or you can be relegated to the dustbin of history. Or-- you can watch as the country comes apart at its seams.
